By Guest: I have a strange question regarding Gerbera Daisies. I have many plants that keep returning year after year, most likely from seed. But this year I had one come back that started producing more flowers than normal. I have seen plants with 5 or 6 flowers at a time before but nothing like this. This particular plant has sprouted 23 flowers that are all open at once. And there are at least 10 to 15 more blooms coming up now too. How did I get this to happen? I want to reproduce this one.
Answer By The Flower Expert: Though its a rare thing, you can very well reproduce Gerbera Daisies, atleast you can try your luck. After the flowers fade away, that is flowering is finished, collect the seeds from the flowers. You can store them and plant them during favourable conditions, as they need high temps and high humidity to germinate. The seeds should get about 8 hours of sun a day and the temp should never fall below 68 F.
