yucca Plant Or Soaptree Yucca

Soaptree Yucca, is also known by many more names such as Palma Pita, Dagger Plant, or just plain old Yucca.
Oriental Pink Heart Lily

By Lisa Blything: Oriental Pink Heart Lily. I planted these lilies in two areas about 4 feet apart from one another about May 16. Both have lost their blooms and one is turning brown. Will they bloom again and is the brown one dead?
Answer By The Flower Expert: I think you have planted the plants with the flowers present on the plant. There might have been a transplanting shock.
They may not bloom again. The brown one is dead.
Mist the lily 1 to 2 times per week and give a good amount of water, though letting the plant dry out a bit in between watering.
Misting the plant, will keep the leaves from turning brown and possibly dropping off prematurely.
Old Rope Plant

By Ruth Hendricks: I have an old Rope plant - about 37 years - was a very tiny plant with 1 leaf which I bought through a plant party it now reaches the floor several places - that I re hang up around the top only about 2 feet down.
My question - do you recommend feeding this plant ? The leaves have wound so much around the macrame holder that I see no way to change the dirt to new dirt ever - any suggestions of how to encourage more blossoms ? They are so beautiful. Right now I have 2 places blooming with no idea if I did - DO - anything special for them to bloom I do not water( with temped water ) very much or often - do you agree?
Over the years there have been yellow dead leaves that I take off - thus a few vacant spaces on the vine itself - but not too bad really - do you know the reason? Did it need more water then?
I do keep it in a south window but not into a lot of direct sun your thought? I do not remove the faded blossoms - they just drop. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Answer By The Flower Expert: It is also called as The Hindu Rope plant.
The plant should be fertilized only during the spring and summer months every alternate months.
Usually it should be with formulation of (10-10-10 or 12-12-12) diluted to ½ the strength is recommended. That itself gives more blooms during the flowering period.

By Guest: I am having a problem wit several varieties of flowers growing in an area where shrubs,hedges and evergreens are thriving which seems to indicate lack of soil problemsi The flowers are Missouri primrose ,Azalias and Blue buttercups.
Answer By The Flower Expert: Use peat moss for azaleas, to make the soil acidic.
Buttercups need 5.5-8.0 ph of soil.
Missouri Primrose is a tough, drought tolerant plant which need only little maintenance in any well drained soil.
See that the plants are recieving this amount in soil and act accordingly.
